BELGA & CO is a small-batch coffee roaster based in Antwerp. They propose an internet-based subscription that delivers freshly roasted coffee straight to their clients’home. BELGA & CO approached TW to define and reflect on the company’s core values and create a consistent brand narrative.

For the creation of the brand narrative, SIMPLE PLEASURES, inspiration came from the core of their product. “Coffee is more than just a great beverage. Coffee offers a particular moment where you take the time to clear your mind and put all you worries aside in order to enjoy the present time.” Coffee is a simple pleasure and BELGA & CO aims to bring this moment of escape to their consumers’ doorsteps.
The GRAPHIC IDENTITY has been inspired by traditional postal and passport imagery and elements, highlighting their delivery service. Graphic elements such as stamps, seals and stickers over kraft paper, the traditional postage packaging material, have been reinterpreted in a contemporary way with the addition of a friendly, easy going tone of voice. Furthermore, to emphasise the freshness of the coffee, each pack is labeled with a bespoke hand-applied stamp, which displays the date of roasting and best before dates.
